Ben Stiller Shares a Glimpse Into Life With His Famous Parents in ‘Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost’
Ben Stiller directed this documentary about his late parents, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, who married in 1954 and started doing a comedy act that mined their personal lives for laughs.
It landed them frequent spots on The Ed Sullivan Show, The Tonight Show and other high-profile gigs. But success began to affect their marriage, and they ended up choosing love over the act. The film is less compelling when Ben turns the camera on himself, but it’s still a fascinating and funny look at a partnership, showbiz and a family.
Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost | Premieres Friday, Oct. 24, on Apple TV+
