Parental wisdom for the win! Ben Stiller has revealed in a new documentary, Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost, about his comedy-duo-legend parents, the late Jerry Stiller and Ann Meara, that he looked to the pair’s 61-year marriage when his own relationship faltered.
The 59-year-old explained that when he and longtime wife Christine Taylor separated in 2017, he viewed the split vis-a-vis Jerry and Ann’s “incredible 50-plus-year marriage” and his deep desire to “live up to that.” He and Christine, 54, moved back in together with their two children during the pandemic lockdown and decided to give their union another try.

“They’re in a great place, and everyone in their world would agree they’re stronger than ever,” says an insider.
“Ben never gave up hope and Christine was longing for another shot at the marriage, too. She just needed Ben to do some growing up first. They’re not willing to lose it all again.”
