Like mother, like daughter! Days after graduating from Nashville’s Vanderbilt University, Gwyneth Paltrow‘s daughter, Apple Martin, has landed her first movie role. And this is no indie student film. Per Deadline, the 22-year-old will join Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Jude Law, Owen Wilson and a slew of other heavyweights in a film by famed director Nancy Meyers. The Holiday and It’s Complicated helmer previously teased that the flick is about “a group of people making a film and the magic and mystery of what we do.”

Cue the nepo-baby accusations. “There’s a good amount of eye rolling going on right now, as so many people are drawing the conclusion, quite understandably, that she’s only there by virtue of her famous mom and family,” an insider tells Star (Apple’s dad is rocker Chris Martin). That’s something mom Gwyneth knows a bit about, having grown up the daughter of famed TV producer Bruce Paltrow and acclaimed actress Blythe Danner. “Gwyneth is telling Apple to just show up and give her best performance,” says the source. “To prove the doubters wrong.”
