Andy Cohen isn’t doing much to quell longstanding rumors about the nature of his superclose friendship with singer John Mayer.
During a Call Her Daddy episode that dropped on Wednesday, October 29, Cohen, 57, revealed to host Alex Cooper that he got a bit flirty with Mayer, 47, during a recent boozy boys night out at The Sunset Tower.
“We always sit on the same side of the booth,” Cohen explained. “We sit next to each other always.”
“As the night goes on, I find myself sinking into him because he’ll have his arm around me,” he continued. “I was getting so physical with him by the end that he was like, ‘Andy,’ but I was kinda using him to tell a story about a guy.”
“I was in my cups a little bit. We were in a puddle of laughter,” he added. “We love each other deeply.”
Still, he pushed back against claims that their bromance — which spans over a decade — is anything more than friendly.
“I’m not secretly in love with him,” he admitted. “If I could find a gay guy that was him, it would be magic.”

Cohen’s confession comes on the heels of Jeff Lewis’ October 12Watch What Happens Live! appearance, in which the former Flipping Out star accused Cohen of giving Mayer special treatment at SiriusXM — where both men both have their own channels.
During the episode, Lewis complained that Mayer appears to have his own studio while he and others are forced to share space at Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Radio Andy.
Lewis needled Cohen, “You built a studio for him.”
Cohen denied the accusation, stating, “I did not …he goes into his own studio.”
