Comedians Ali Wong and Bill Hader have ended their nearly three-year long relationship, according to a new report from People.
“It was too difficult to make the relationship work with Ali’s upcoming stand up tour and Bill’s various film and tv projects this year,” a source told the outlet in a story published on Wednesday, January 7. “They’re focusing on their work and kids, while continuing to support and root for each other.”
The Beef star, 43, and the Barry alum, 47, first made their relationship public in April 2023.

“My girlfriend and I were just figuring out that I haven’t had a vacation in 10 years. I went with her to San Francisco, but that doesn’t really count,” he said during an interview with Collider at the time, later confirming he was dating Wong.
In her October 2024 Netflix special, Ali Wong: Single Lady, Wong revealed that Hader got her number from a mutual friend and reached out after he heard she was getting divorced, admitting he had a crush on her “forever.”
