Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson Details Her Private Pain and Struggles In Lifetime Biopic
This biopic traces the life of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson (Vale Cooper), whom the reality gods blessed us with when a sassy, funny 5-year-old made her TV debut as an unlikely pageant contestant on Toddlers and Tiaras.
Her family got its own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which was abruptly cancelled when it was revealed the boyfriend of Alana’s mother (Chesea Larkin) was a registered sex offender.
Now 19 and in college, Alana narrates the movie, revealing the pain and struggles behind her unlikely stardom.
