Four weeks just wasn’t enough for Gisele Bundchen. The supermodel, 36, so loved having Tom Brady all to herself during his Deflategate suspension in September that she’s asked the Patriots quarterback, 39, to hang up his cleats — for good!
“Tom plays football because he loves to, not because he needs to,” shares a source close to the couple, who are worth a reported $500 million.
“He’s been lucky as far as injuries go, but Gisele’s terrified that he’s one concussion away from not being able to remember their children when he’s older.”
While Tom believes he has another five seasons in him, “he also wants to make Gisele happy,” says the pal. “And when push comes to shove, Gisele usually gets what she wants — and that’s for him to retire.”
