Talk about being ‘bitten’ by the love bug! According to multiple sources, it is official (sorry ladies) — Vampire Diaries hottie Ian Somerhalder and Twilight beauty Nikki Reed are engaged after only six months of dating (then again, vampires do technically move a lot faster than humans)!
Calling his bride to be “incredible” in a recent Instagram share, the 36-year-old gorgeous, blue-eyed bloodsucker was smitten from the start, and an insider gushes that the sexy pair are “crazy happy.”
Ian is known for mating with beauties from the vampire world — he previously dated costar Nina Dobrev. Nikki, meanwhile, played the stunning, otherworldly Rosalie in all five Twilight movies.
The love birds (bats?) warp-speed courtship comes on the heels of Nikki’s amicable divorce last March from musician Paul McDonald. Ian and Nina ended things in 2013, and in a post mere days before the split was announced, he ominously alluded to a ‘shift,’ tweeting, “…sometimes people change and forget to tell each other.” OUCH!
