The 29-year-old was pulled over for going 84 mph in a 45 mph zone. The cop who pulled him over issued a field sobriety test, which the swimmer failed, and was subsequently booked (and later released) for DUI at a nearby station. His charges also include excessive speeding and crossing double lane lines.
This isn’t his first DUI offense either. Michael was also arrested for drunk driving in 2004 at 19-years-old, but struck a plea deal in exchange for 18 months probation.
