For Brittany Kerr’s sake, let’s hope what goes around doesn’t come around! Jason Aldean proposed to the former American Idol contestant at the San Diego Zoo on Sept. 24…just two years after he was caught cheating on his wife with her!
In September 2012, photos surfaced of the country singer kissing Brittany while he was still married to Jessica Ussery. The couple tried to work things out, but Jason wound up filing for divorce in April 2013.
The “Burnin’ It Down” singer reportedly began dating Brittany some time after that, but they didn’t make their first official appearance until the 2014 CMT Awards…just 3 months ago!
Jason has publicly discussed the relationship since then, and ranted about how sick he is of people judging him for it. “I have made mistakes but I am a better person because of it and wouldn’t change a thing,” he said in a tweet. “I’m happier than I’ve ever been so thank you to all the people who support us.”
