The injuries just keep on coming on this season of Dancing With the Stars. During last Monday’s live show, Amy Purdy was sent to the hospital, and diagnosed with a rib out of place and muscle spasms — but the show must go on!
The Paralympic snowboarder has been keeping fans updated on her condition via Twitter all week long, and it appears she’s ready to compete with her partner, Derek Hough, this week.
“This week was a tough one,” she tweeted on Sunday night. “Trying to dance when your muscles are in severe spasm and pulling on ribs. I’m grateful to be feeling better!!!”
Amy has already faced significant challenges all season long — she’s the first contestant in 18 seasons to compete with prosthetic legs — but has continuously proven herself week after week.
