The injuries are piling up on this season of Dancing With the Stars. Danica McKellar’s scores suffered a bit on Monday, due to her recently broken rib, and now, another star is unsure if she’ll be able to continue competing.
After performing a rumba with partner Derek Hough this week, Amy Purdy was rushed to the hospital due to a pain in her back. On Tuesday, she updated fans on her condition. “So, Looks like I have a rib out of place and my muscles are in spasm,” she shared. “I am being very proactive in healing up so I can continue this journey.”
No word yet on whether or not she’ll dance next Monday, but the injury didn’t have too much of an affect this week. Although the Paralympic snowboarder couldn’t compete in her freestyle group routine, the team had a good enough dress rehearsal to earn 39/40 points!
And it seems like she’s going to do whatever she can to get back on the dance floor! “Please keep the positive healing thoughts and votes coming!!!” #purdyhough #dontstopwontstop #DWTS,“
NeNe Leakes was sent home in Week 7 of the competition.
