What better way to announce an engagement than by flaunting your ring on your daily talk show?! Jenny McCarthy got to do just that on Wednesday’s episode of The View, when she revealed that Donnie Wahlberg had popped the question.
“I just got engaged!” she exclaimed, showing off her left hand. “It’s a yellow sapphire.”

The TV host explained that her son, Evan, helped out with the proposal, and that the couple hasn’t set a wedding date yet.
Jenny was previously married to John Asher, Evan’s dad, for six years before their 2005 divorce. She then dated Jim Carrey for three and a half years, but they split in April 2010. Donnie was also previously married, to Kim Fey, with whom he has two children.
The newly engaged couple has been dating since mid 2013.
