It’s here! Lea Michele has been counting down to the premiere of her first music video for “Cannonball” all week long, and on Thursday, it finally debuted.
In the vid, the actress/singer starts off singing in a dark, abandoned-looking room. Keeping in tune with the song, though, she “breaks through” and ends up singing in a setting of bright, neon lights.
“So thankful to everyone who helped me make my #CannonballMusicVideo and to all of you for watching..,” she tweeted after the premiere.
Last month, the 27-year-old admitted that the song, written by Sia, has helped her with grieving after her boyfriend, Cory Monteith, passed away in July. “It’s more than just a song for me,” she explained. “It has helped me so much in this process personally. It’s given me strength; it’s given me hope.”
