New York’s number one indie-pop sensation, Darnaa, broke out her party hat to host her first party at this year’s South by Southwest music festival over the weekend!
Darnaa and Friends, including special guest performers, took SXSW by storm with a weekend long party on one of the largest stages of the music festival. “I was so nervous to be hosting my own tent party this weekend,” she dished, exclusively to Star. “Last year was totally different — I only performed at the Go Girls’ Showcase and helped promote the festival. This year, I was asked to host my own party and got to perform a whole set of my own.”
The singer added that the most exciting moment was performing her new song “Cowgirl.” “”Cowgirl” is all about getting straight to business when it comes to my relationships,” she continued. “I am a busy woman and I don’t have time to play games.”
Darnaa admitted to us that people call her trouble and complain that she’s a huge tease, but she claimed that’s not the case. “I am still on the lookout for my one and only,” she explained. “Right now, all the guys that approach me are annoying and if they think I’m a tease for not acting interested, it’s just that — I’m not interested.”
Besides just hosting her own event, Darnaa and her friends partied through the weekend at the festival. Follow @DarnaaMusic on Twitter for more!
