Walton Goggins‘ publicist abruptly ended an interview with The Times of London after repeated questions about a rumored feud between the actor and his “White Lotus” co-star Aimee Lou Wood.

In the interview published in The Times on Thursday, which touched on the 53-year-old actor’s past projects as well as his upcoming appearance in “The Uninvited,” which was directed by his filmmaker wife, Nadia Conners, journalist Ed Patton broached the subject of the rumored feud by bringing up the fact that Goggins and Wood, 31, no longer follow each other on Instagram.

“Im not gonna have that conversation,” the actor replied.

“Were not going there, thank you,” Goggins’ American publicist said, while his British publicist, who was also present, said, “Next question.

Patton returns to the subject of “The Uninvited,” eventually writing that “it can’t have been easy” for Conners to see her husband “doing explicit sex scenes with Wood, who at 31 is more than 20 years their junior.” The interview had touched on Goggins suddenly becoming a sex symbol in his fifties.

The interview later turned to Goggins hosting “Saturday Night Live” next month, just weeks after an “SNL” parody of “The White Lotus” upset Wood over its unflattering portrayal of her large teeth. The actress called the “SNL” sketch “unfunny and mean” on social media, while Goggins commented under the “SNL” Instagram post of the sketch “Hahahahahhahaha amazzzingggg” before later deleting it.

Also on Instagram, the pair seem to have unfollowed each other, not long after Goggins had posted behind-the-scene photos and gushing praise for his co-star.

Noting that CNN journalist Elizabeth Wagmeister recently suggested the pair were scheduled to appear together again soon, bringing rumors of a feud into question, Patton asked whether there is a “rapprochement looming.”

“Shall we talk about ‘The Uninvited’ a bit more?” the British publicist interjected.

“Thinly veiled, my friend. The thing youre least interested in,” Goggins admonished Patton. When the journalist brought up Wood again, Goggins cut him off.

“There is no conversation to be had about that. Sharing politics on social media — its in a vacuum,” Goggins said.

Patton wrote that he made a “last forlorn attempt” to talk about Wood.

“What the f, Ed!” Goggins said. “Come on buddy. Wow.” At that point, his American publicist ended the interview.

“Were going to end it there,” the publicist said.
