It’s an exciting time for Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum — and they’re chatting with Star all about it! The happy couple, who recently partnered with Puffs, welcome their first son, Fordham, on Sept. 30, and opened up about parenthood and making their relationship last.
“The hardest part, for me, is the mommy guilt,” Ashley admitted. “I’m telling you, it’s a real thing! You feel like you don’t know exactly what to do at a specific time.” And for the former ABC star’s husband, difficulty comes with giving up so much free time. “Don’t get me wrong, I love my son, I want to be there for every minute, every first, because these first years are all about firsts,” he explained. “But you really have to re-prioritize your life and all of your free time.”
The happily married pair met on The Bachelorette, and got married in December 2012. But how do they make it work? “I think we just both want the same things out of life, so that makes it easier,” Ashley explained,” with J.P. adding, “It’s so cheesy, but we were meant to be together.”
