Travis Kelce Recalls Taylor Swift Proposal and Her ‘New Heights’ Appearance Following MSG Wedding

Travis Kelce is looking back at an epic season of his and brother Jason Kelce‘s New Heights podcast.

The season four finale of New Heights — with guest Tom Brady — aired on Wednesday, July 8, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, reflected on when he popped the question to his now-wife, Taylor Swift, immediately after she appeared on the premiere episode, which aired on August 13.

“Ending the season with Tom Brady, pretty epic. Starting it with Taylor, pretty epic,” Travis gushed. “During that recording, the entire time, I’m planning, like, I’m gonna ask this woman to marry me after this.”

“Those were probably two other, like, really cool moments of this season,” he continued. “Obviously, the beginning of it with Taylor is one I’ll remember forever.”

Jason jumped in and noted, “It’s by far our most viewed episode of all time,” to which Travis admitted, “it was pretty fun.”

“It was incredible,” Jason added. “I’ve never been more nervous.”

The A-list couple announced their engagement with the world via an August 26 Instagram post featuring multiple photos of them in Travis’ backyard at his Missouri home. The Super Bowl champion transformed his outdoor space into a magical setting with an assortment of flowers.

As Star previously reported, the singer-songwriter, 36, recalled the proposal in an October appearance on Jimmy Fallon.

“I think, for Travis, the podcast was just sort of a distraction, sort of a ruse, to keep me not looking out the windows of the house,” she said. “Every time he does the podcast, it’s not like he blacks out all the windows.”

About a year after the proposal, the pop star and the athlete tied the knot on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden, where they are said to have created a garden within the venue, per TMZ.

A rep for the 14-time Grammy Award winner offered insight into the ceremony, revealing there were no bridesmaids or groomsmen.

“Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man,” the rep’s statement explained, per People. “The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”

Additionally, many stars were in attendance, including Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Benson Boone and more.
