Travis Kelce may have his sights set on the silver screen, but a source tells Star that he still has a long way to go.
The source says that it’s unlikely the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, is “just going to waltz into a serious acting career in Hollywood.”
“Travis and his team want to conquer Hollywood the way they’ve conquered football and podcasting,” the source explains.
However, the insider notes the NFL star, who is currently datingTaylor Swift, “still has dues to pay if he really wants to headline action movies and comedies himself one day.”

“What people really want to see this guy do is take some artistic risks, put himself out there and make something memorable,” the source adds.
The New Heights podcaster is slowly building up his acting credits, first appearing in Ryan Murphy’s 2024 FX show Grotesquerie, and more recently making a cameo in Adam Sandler’sHappy Gilmore 2 on Netflix.
The film’s director, Kyle Newacheck, sang Kelce’s praises in an interview with People last month.
“Kelce was fantastic. He’s a hard worker, and he wanted to do right by the film… everybody did,” Newacheck told the outlet. “I think Kelce’s just so charismatic.”
“He just is so funny. You want to be around him, and he’s an entertainer,” Newacheck continued. “He’s an athlete, so he knows the moment. He knows how to perform in the moment.”
