Tom Cruise Gushes Over Ana de Armas’s New Film ‘Ballerina’ in Video

Tom Cruise is showing his support for Ana de Armas’s latest film.

On Thursday, March 15, Spanish actor/influencer Javier Ibarreche posted a video on Instagram of him chatting with the 62-year-old Top Gun actor about the upcoming action flick From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, which de Armas, 37, stars in.

“I just saw the movie. It kicks a**,” the Mission: Impossible star gushed. “Oh man, it’s right in that tone… You’re gonna love it!”

The post’s caption — translated from Spanish to English — reads in part, “Here casually with Tom Cruise telling me about the movies that excite him that are just being released.”

Rumors have been circulating since February that Cruise and the Blonde actress are in a relationship after the two movie stars were photographed dining together over Valentine’s Day weekend in London. The pair have been spotted together several times since then but have not publicly confirmed their romance.

On Thursday, May 15, the Cuban-Spanish actress appeared on Good Morning America, where host Michael Strahan remarked, “I hear you’re working with another big star. He’s a stunt man himself, Tom Cruise, on another project that’s going to lead you to do some other crazy stunts.”

De Armas responded, “It’s so much fun. We’re definitely working on a lot of things. Not just one but a few projects with Doug Liman, Christopher McQuarrie, and, of course, Tom. And I’m so excited.”

Deadline recently revealed that the two A-listers are reportedly teaming up for an “undersea supernatural” film called Deeper.

Cruise has been married three times. He tied the knot with actress Mimi Rogers in 1987 but eventually divorced her in 1990. He was famously married to Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, with whom he shares two adopted children: Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30. The Risky Business star was also married to Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012. They share a 19-year-old daughter, Suri.

As for the Knives Out actress, she wed Spanish actor Marc Clotet in 2011 but divorced him in 2013. She was also in a relationship with Ben Affleck for roughly a year, from 2020 to 2021.

Ballerina will be out in theaters on Friday, June 6.
