Taylor Swift is reflecting on her love story with fiancé Travis Kelce.
In a new trailer for the 35-year-old singer-songwriter’s upcoming 6-episode docuseries, The End of an Era, she opened up about the beginning of her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, whom she announced her engagement to in August.
“The most meaningful relationship I’ve ever had started with a man saying he was butthurt that I didn’t wanna meet him,” Swift recalled. “Greatest surprise of my life.”
In 2023, Travis attended the Eras Tour and, on an episode of his New Heights podcast, he explained that he wanted to meet the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker afterward but didn’t get the chance.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he told his brother, Jason Kelce. “So I was a little butthurt [that] I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
“If you’re up on Taylor concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he admitted.
Also in the trailer, the pop star compared her career to the NFL star’s.
“We both entertain people,” Swift quipped. “His with considerably more violence than mine.”
“You’ve got teammates, I’ve got teammates,” Swift said to Travis during a phone call in another clip. “You’ve got Coach [Andy] Reid. I’ve got my mom, [Andrea Swift].”
