Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may be trading the spotlight for a slower pace in a surprising new location — and their soon-to-be neighbors are already prepared to give them space.
According to a report published Wednesday, September 2, by Page Six, the newlyweds’ upcoming Cleveland-area neighbors are confident the couple will be left alone despite their star power.
Swift and Travis, both 36, purchased a $5.3 million, 21,000-square-foot lakefront home in Bratenahl, a suburb outside Cleveland, according to the outlet. Even with fans and neighbors nearby, one area source said there’s little worry the couple will be swarmed.
“They will have privacy,” the source said, per Page Six. “[Former Cleveland Cavaliers mega star] LeBron James lived here in his prime and nobody bothered [him]. It’s the Cleveland charm.”
Still, the source admitted locals are thrilled at the idea of spotting the “So High School” singer around town, name-checking a nearby yacht club: “Everybody would love their grandkids to spot her at Shoreby Club.”

According to the outlet, neighbors are reportedly more curious about how often the couple — who own multiple properties — will actually use the home.
“People are excited, but they want to know if they will really spend time there,” the source said.
The source also questioned what renovations might be in store, describing the home as a “modest old home” for the upscale area, despite its listing touting an “extensive renovation.” Per The Wall Street Journal, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end closed on the home in March, four months before he and Swift married at Madison Square Garden. The listing shows eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a pool, game room, home theater, billiards room, bar and fitness center.
“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions,” Travis explained on the September 2 episode. “And we needed it to be a private feel. And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”
