The Bachelorette — starring Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Taylor Frankie Paul— may be getting a TV-MA rating this season, if producers get their way, a source tells Star.
“They want to really push the boundaries and make the show sexier,” says the source. “Taylor is an admitted ‘soft swinger’ and they want her to do as much flirting with the guys as she can manage.”
As Star has previously reported, the reality star, 31, was at the center of a MomTok “soft swinging” scandal in 2022. She and her ex-husband, Tate Paul, had an agreement amongst their group of friends that they could be intimate with others as long as there was no actual sexual intercourse.
The mom of three later admitted to crossing that line and it was the catalyst for her divorce.

The Utah influencer — who was also arrested for domestic violence following a fight with ex-boyfriendDakota Mortensen in 2023, but the charges were dropped — “is a controversial choice” for the Disney-owned network, says the source.
“But bosses are desperately making a last-ditch effort to spike ratings and save the franchise from going under, which almost happened when the network pulled The Bachelorette from the summer and fall cycles,” adds the source.
“This is their last hurrah,” continues the source. “If they don’t succeed, they may have to kiss The Bachelorette goodbye forever.”
