Rihanna, 38, was home at the time of the incident, but was unharmed. It remains unclear whether her longtime partner, ASAP Rocky, or their three children, sons RZA and Riot, and daughter Rocki, were inside the house.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told The California Post that one bullet pierced “a wall of the home.”
Ortiz fled the scene but was apprehended in the parking lot of a Sherman Oaks shopping center “around 30 minutes after the 911 call came in,” the Los Angeles Times reported.

On February 23, the Orlando-based Christian influencer seemingly lashed out at the singer on Facebook. “@badgalriri Are you there? Cause I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I’m not at,” Ortiz wrote.
In another social media post, per the Daily Mail, she called the Fenty Beauty mogul a “turn hiding bitch.”
According to the outlet, she has previously been arrested for domestic violence, careless driving and violating pretrial release conditions.
