Steve Carell and Tina Fey Reunite in Netflix’s ‘The Four Seasons’ — The New Series About Love, Breakups, and Lifelong Friendship
Date Night costars — and TV royalty — Tina Fey and Steve Carell reunite in this comedy movie about love and friendship.
It’s the story of three couples — Kate (Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani) — who are longtime friends.
On one of their regular weekend getaways, the group learns that one of the couples is splitting up. But breakups don’t affect just the two people involved — they also impact the whole friend group. And the separation completely upends the pals’ dynamics, as their trips — which take place in spring, summer, fall and winter (hence the movie’s title) — reveal.
Based on the 1981 romantic comedy, the eight-episode series was created by Fey and her fellow 30 Rock-ers Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield. The award-winning writing team and the popular cast make this must-see TV.
