Scarlett Johansson Reveals Her Strict No-Photo Policy with Fans

Scarlett Johansson, a pro since the age of 8, has a strict policy when it comes to fan photos: If she’s at an event, snap away. If not, back off. “It really offends a lot of people,” the 40-year-old admitted in the new issue of InStyle. “It doesn’t mean I’m not appreciative, of course, that people are fans, or happy to see me. But I always say to people, ‘I’m not working.’ ”

The attitude is a bit of a surprise coming from one of Hollywood’s most relatable stars. Sure, she’s gorgeous, worth an estimated $165 million and married to SNL’s Colin Jost.

But the mom of two fit right in making chicken wings as a guest host on the Today show and recently dished about sitting next to “very cute” lovebirds Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco at the Oscars! When it comes to social media, she’s a holdout.

Pressed to join Instagram to promote the upcoming Jurassic World movie, she joked about checking with her therapist before saying no. “I think the film will do fine.”
