The kids “are growing up in the blink of an eye, which is never easy to cope with,” admits the source, and “as happy as she is and forward-focused as she is, that can lead to broody thoughts.”
Still, “she isn’t sitting around moping about it,” the source reveals. “She always says she hit the jackpot with her three because they are each so exceptional in their own way and she doesn’t take that for granted.”

There is, after all, a “silver lining” to having kids who are “much more independent,” Star‘s source notes.
“She has so much more time to pursue her own goals now,” explains the source. “She wants to make an impact on the world and says she can’t think of a more impactful place to focus her energy than on young children in Britain that need extra support.”
In 2021, Kate launched The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and recently traveled to Reggio Emilia, Italy on behalf of the organization to meet with parents, students and local civic leaders.
