The actress, who was diagnosed with MS, used a wheelchair to get around the park, with the Buffy actress often taking the reins. told the magazine, “I really feel like people with disabilities are invisible to a lot of people. Because they’re uncomfortable, or don’t have the energy to dress up, don’t want to be seen.” She wants to use her Instagram and her fame to shed light on people who are living with disabilities.

“There’s no tragedy for me,” she explained about her diagnosis. “I’m happy, and if I can help anyone be more comfortable in their skin, it’s more than I’ve ever done before.”

Selma is also continuing to act. “I don’t know if I believed in myself or had the ambition before my diagnosis,” she explained. “And oddly now I do, and I don’t know if it’s too late.”
