She said, “I know now what it feels like to be afraid every single day because I love my kids to the point where I'm a little neurotic.”

The Miss Congeniality actress explained the root of her fears. She said, “[I worry about] what's happening in the world, am I a good mother. When they leave the house and go to school I check my phone constantly... Did the school call? Are they going to get hurt?”

“If they're leaving with someone else, I panic,” Sandra explained.

But she knows this isn’t exactly a healthy way to be. “I have to learn how to relax in a world that spins that kind of worry and remind myself, and my children, that it is also a hopeful place,” she said.

The host asked if she thought this was because she’s a mom and not a dad. “I don't think it's a gender thing,” she said, “But Trevante on one hand, is more grounded. He has that fearlessness. My boyfriend has that as well.” Sandra has been with Bryan Randall since she divorced Jesse James in 2010.
