Was Phaedra Parks Shading Vivica A. Fox With Her 50 Cent Selfie?

Last night, the Starz series Power had its season five premiere. 50 Cent is an executive producer of the show, and a member of the cast. Phaedra is not on the show, but she was invited to the premiere party. She posted a handful of photos from the party on her Instagram.

But her most notable photo was with the iconic rapper. She captioned the photo, “You don’t rock with #Power??????? @50cent. . . .get the strap ✊? Tune in now for Season5 ?. Sidenote: Before y’all start the chatter he ain’t Mr. Chocolate. Everybody knows his strap will have you sprung for 20 years and ain’t nobody got time for that!!! I have 2 kings and too many jobs but he smells amazing and is plum fine so keep him in your top 3 fantasy roster ?.”

When Phaedra wrote that he’s not “Mr. Chocolate,” she was referring to the mystery man she’s accused of having an affair with when she was married to Apollo Nido.

But fans were interpreting the next sentence as shade toward 50 Cent’s longtime ex, Vivica A. Fox. “Everybody knows his strap will have you sprung for 20 years and ain’t nobody got time for that!!!”

Vivica and 50 Cent broke up way back in 2005. By 2009, they were back to being friends, and she appeared in one of his music videos. But when she went on “Watch What Happens Live” in 2015 and implied 50 Cent was gay, that reopened their feud.

Earlier this year, things intensified when Vivica’s book, Every Day, I’m Hustling, featured a long section about their relationship and sex life, which the actress described as PG-13.

Phaedra’s caption, then, is shading Vivica for being hung up on 50 Cent for so long. “Ain’t nobody got time for that!!!” Fans in the comments congratulated her on her subtle drag.
