Even though the Danish Girl star was later charged for providing false information about her dogs to Australian authorities, the prosecutor’s dropped decided to drop the lawsuit against the 29-year-old, which could have added up to a $15,350 fine and two years in prison.

But now, Johnny Depp’s wife finally came clean — pleading guilty to providing that false information in the Southport Magistrates Court in Queensland on April 18. Turns out, the actress will only be issued a one-month good behavior bond and a low $766 fine — no conviction recorded.

To mend their mistake even more, Johnny and Amber issued a public apology, which warns other tourists about the consequences of illegal importation. “When you disrespect Australian law, they will tell you firmly,” the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor said, adding, “Declare everything when you enter Australia. Thanks.”

To mend their mistake even more, Johnny and Amber issued a public apology, which warns other tourists about the consequences of illegal importation. “When you disrespect Australian law, they will tell you firmly,” the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor said, adding, “Declare everything when you enter Australia.
