Joe Manganiello Quits New Show Due To Health Complications — Inside His Secret Struggle

Sources told RadarOnline that the 39-year-old hottie has bitten off more than he can chew. And although Joe's isn't "injured" per se, and is most likely "going to be okay," the insider revealed that the intense physical demands the military action drama series required caused him to suffer from a major "burn out."  

Turns out, Sofia Vergara's better half is trying to juggle a major workload, which includes three new motion pictures, and the filming of yet another project — Pee-Wee's Big Holiday.   

“Joe is very focused on his work right now and is committed to staying sober too,” the insider explained.

As Star readers know, this isn't the first time the Magic Mike star has had to battle his inner demons, having struggled with alcohol addiction in the past.  

"I think addicts are born wired a certain way," he revealed during his tell-all Men's Health interview  "But alcohol was not the issue for me – the issues were all internal."  

However, sources reveal that “Joe is very focused on his work right now" and that he continues to stay "committed to staying sober."
