Rock-Hard! Joe Manganiello Reveals His New Healthy Living Goals In 'Men's Fitness'

Though Joe has played a hunky werewolf on True Blood, and a sexy stripper in Magic Mike, he revealed that he's "not that guy."

"When I did the Magic Mike movies, everyone treated me like I was a male stripper, talked to me like I was a male stripper, which couldn't be further from my upbringing—my childhood, adolescence, and educational background, you know. Like I'm just not that guy," he said.

And now that Joe no longer has to strip down on the big screen (for the time being at least,) he is focused on challenging his body in new ways. "I don't emphasize aesthetics anymore. When you're playing a male stripper, it's about what you look like. Right now I want to focus on becoming a better athlete," he told the magazine.

But Joe isn't just an actor (and fitness fanatic)—he's also a newlywed!

He and Sofia wed in November, and when asked about his new life with the Colombian beauty, the 39-year-old admitted, "It's the best. It's great."
