The Olbia Local Police have released new, disturbing photos from George Clooney’s motorcycle accident. Early this morning, July 10, the actor was driving from his home in Sardinia, Italy to a television set when he collided with a Mercedes. These disturbing photos give a peak into how bad the accident was. The shattered glass on the Mercedes’ windshield suggests that’s where George made impact with the car. Its license plate also dangles from the front bumper.

George’s bike doesn’t seem to be in much better condition, as some of the pieces have fallen off. The scene is surrounded by emergency vehicles, and completely blocks traffic on the road.

A rep for the actor said that the father of two “is recovering at home and will be fine.” The driver of the car was the one to call the paramedics.
