While the The Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and contestant Nick Viall get hot and heavy on the show, many fans recognize the instant chemistry he shares with Kaitlyn—so much the couple's time together on the show has created quite a buzz about their attraction toward each other.

But Nick has been cozying up to another familiar face off-screen at a tiny bar in Chicago on May 30: Whitney Bischoff, The Bachelor Chris Soules' ex-fiancée!

The bachelor hasn't had the greatest charm for fans, ever since he shamed Andi Dorfman by announcing live on After The Rose TV segment that they had slept together. "Since his comeback, everyone's been talking about how Nick and Kaitlyn have hit it off—plus the rumors that they had actually been texting and flirting long before the show started," a source exclusively tells Star.

The eyewitness also told Star that the Chicago fertility nurse, 30, and Nick, 34, took all the measures to try and keep their secret meet-up undercover, which is one reason they chose to meet at such a small bar in their Windy City hometown.

"Nick and a small group of friends arrived at 7:30—and then Whitney joined them 15 minutes later," says an eyewitness. "The other friends moved off to let Nick and Whitney have some space together at their table. They were leaning into each other, chatting and laughing—Whitney's high-pitched laugh was hard to miss. She also made a point of lovingly stroking Nick's knee while they talked."

"They stayed that way for about two and a half hours before leaving together, with Whitney pulling her red Chicago Blackhawks cap down over her eyes, like she didn't want to be recognized," the eyewitness adds.
