Depressed & Alone! Erin Andrews Breaks Down On The Stand In $75 Million Peeping Tom Case — Inside Her Tearful Testimony

After a secret film of her was made in 2008 by a total stranger, Michael David Barrett, through a peeping hole in the star's hotel room — which was later leaked on the internet — Erin Andrews commenced a bitter legal battle against the Marriot Nashville Hotel for a whopping $75 million.

The sportscaster broke down on the stand as she claimed she would have called authorities had she known that her perpetrator requested a room next to hers. "No one ever called me or told me when I checked in that he asked to be put next to me," she testified.

"All I wanted to do is be respected, be the girl who loves sports, and now I'm the girl with the scandal. It's embarrassing," the 37-year-old TV personality continued. "I feel like I'm on an island all by myself," she stated, after which she revealed that as a result of the peephole scandal she now suffers from anxiety and depression.

"I was living like a hermit. It was nothing like who I am," a teary Erin claimed. "It was nothing like who I tried to be."  

"It's a nightmare that doesn't stop," Erin's mother Paula — who also took the stand — testified.  

Earlier that day, the former truck driver admitted to making videos of 10 other women, and that his motive to film Erin was financial in nature. "I'm not proud of what I did," he claimed on the stand.
