'Dance Moms' Star Abby Lee Miller Facing 2.5 Years In Prison After Pleading Guilty To Bankruptcy Fraud

Abby Lee Miller could be well on her way to organizing prison dance recitals.

This morning, the Dance Moms star pled guilty to one count of concealing bankruptcy assets and one count of not reporting an international monetary transaction, Deadline reports.

Damning evidence was unveiled during her court appearance, including text messages that said, “We have all this foreign cash,” and “Need a little money laundering.”

She allegedly even asked employees to smuggle foreign currency in Ziploc bags stored in their luggage.

The punishment for her crimes could be 24-30 months in the big house!

Abby's lawyers, however, are asking the judge to reduce the sentence to no more than six months.

As Star reported, Abby made the decision to plead guilty as prosecutors piled on additional charges. “Events over the past several months have been extremely challenging for me, my family, my friends and most important, my students,” she said in a statement. “Because of this I made the very difficult decision to close the door on this chapter of my life by accepting responsibility for mistakes I have made along the way."
