Nikki Garcia Is Reportedly ‘Smitten’ With 22-Year-Old Eagles Player Cooper DeJean: ‘She’s Really Happy’

Nikki Garcia is keeping her lips sealed when it comes to dating, but it seems like she’s in a really great place.

The 42-year-old professional wrestler, who split from ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev last year, recently fueled rumors that she’s romantically involved with Philadelphia Eagles player Cooper DeJean, 22 — and a source has told the Daily Mail that she’s “smitten by him.”

“She’s really happy and it’s an exciting time for her — but she is definitely keeping it as casual as possible, for now,” the source told the publication on Monday, January 5.

The insider noted that while “Nikki spent New Year’s Eve with her sister [Brie Garcia],” it “doesn’t mean she wasn’t thinking about Cooper.”

According to the Mail’s source, the mother of one — who shares son Matteo, 5, with Chigvintsev —  “playfully talks about” the football cornerback to her friends.

The two are apparently keeping things low-key at the moment, especially since the football pro’s team is in the playoffs.

“Cooper is in the middle of football season so he can’t do much until it’s over. That’s why they’re keeping it casual and not forcing anything,” the source said. “She’s just having fun and enjoying the single life.”

As Star previously reported, rumors that the pair may be dating began to swirl after Garcia shared an Instagram Reel on December 16 that included a brief moment of her posing in front of DeJean’s locker.

“So blessed for the people around me, new friends and old, who make life so special and fun,” the WWE star wrote in the caption of her post.

Despite stating on the December 18 episode of the Nikki & Brie Show podcast that she hasn’t “been touched or done anything in so long,” Page Six reported that Garcia and DeJean follow each other on social media, with fans noticing them “liking” and commenting on each other’s posts.

Days after Christmas, Garcia shared throwback footage to Instagram of herself in DeJean’s jersey walking into Lincoln Financial Field (home of the Philadelphia Eagles) ahead of their away game against the Buffalo Bills.
