Nicole Kidman Shares Positive New Year Message Amid Divorce From Keith Urban: ‘Looking Forward’

Nicole Kidman is not looking back.

The 58-year-old marked the New Year on Thursday, January 1, with a heartfelt Instagram post featuring a photo of the actress embracing daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15. Kidman’s estranged husband Keith Urban was notably absent from the snapshot, which Kidman captioned simply: “Looking forward into 2026 xx.”

The Oscar winner filed for divorce in September, citing “irreconcilable differences” after reportedly living apart since early summer 2025.

At the time, rumors swirled that the country star, 58, had already moved on with another woman.

Urban celebrated the holiday on stage, performing at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash on Wednesday, December 31. Among his setlist was a rendition of the New Radicals’ hit, “You Get What You Give.”

Kidman and Urban tied the knot on June 25, 2006 in Sydney, Australia.

As Star readers know, a source recently said Kidman is open to dating following her split from Urban, but she’s “done with famous guys and their insecurities.”
