The New York Yankees are set to kick off their 123rd season with an opening game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Yankee Stadium on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 3:05 p.m. This marks the Yankees’ first clash with the Brewers on Opening Day since the latter joined the National League.

As gates open at 1:00 p.m., fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid delays. Pregame festivities, including team introductions, will commence at 2:30 p.m. The Yankees have partnered with CLEAR for expedited stadium entry.

Highlighting the pregame ceremony, Betsy Wolfe will perform the national anthem, followed by the unveiling of a giant American flag by season-ticket holders. Legendary Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte will throw the ceremonial first pitch, with the U.S. Army West Point Cadet Honor Guard presenting the colors.

Among the patriotic tributes, the Yankees will honor veterans from Kew Gardens, N.Y., and host moments of silence for the late Miller Gardner and others. DJay Jung will entertain fans before the game and during breaks, while the U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Francisco Aisporna will offer a rendition of “God Bless America.”

Additionally, the Yankees Foundation will run a 50/50 Raffle with a minimum starting jackpot of $50,000. The fan with the winning number will win half of the net proceeds, and the other half will benefit New York Yankees Foundation programs and other nonprofit organizations. Raffle tickets are available online at yankees.com/5050, while the raffle winner need not be present at the game to claim their prize.

The Yankees’ opening homestand continues with games against the Brewers and the Arizona Diamondbacks, where the first 40,000 fans on March 29 will receive a 2025 Yankees Calendar presented by Mastercard. Fans can find more information and purchase tickets via the Yankees’ official site.
