Miley Cyrus Reportedly Engaged to Maxx Morando 3 Months After Ex Liam Hemsworth Announces His Engagement

On Tuesday, December 2, Page Six confirmed that the couple is engaged after sparking engagement buzz the night before at the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker, 33, and the musician, 27 — who have been romantically linked since 2021— posed for photos together on the red carpet at the movie premiere, and Cyrus’ jewelry became a topic of conversation.

The “Flowers” singer sported a chunky gold diamond ring on her wedding finger and kept her hand on the drummer’s chest in many photos, showcasing the dazzling rock.

On Monday, DeuxMoi noted on Instagram that Cyrus was “first pictured wearing said ring mid-November” and cited a fan account that shared a congratulatory engagement post seemingly from one of Morando’s relatives.

The Hannah Montana alum was, of course, previously married to Liam Hemsworth from 2018 to 2020, and the former couple are hitting life milestones around the same time. In September, Hemsworth, 35, announced his engagement to model Gabriella Brooks via a joint Instagram post.

In a November 2024 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Cyrus opened up about her relationship with Morando, telling the outlet, “He’s very similar to me. We just don’t take life too seriously.”
