In a clip from the Thursday, April 30, episode of The Megyn Kelly Show (which the political commentator titled “Alex Cooper’s TERRIBLE Advice For Young Women About What To Do On First Date, with Adam Carolla” on her YouTube channel), she discusses a recent episode of Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast.
On the April 5 episode of Call Her Daddy, the 31-year-old influencer talked about what it’s like to be single and dating — telling women to feel empowered to do what they want on a first date with a man.
“Kiss them [on] the first date, f**king sleep with them the first night. Like, I don’t care,” Cooper said. “You have to go based on what feels good to your body and what feels right to you.”
Kelly, 55, felt otherwise, saying that Cooper is too “young to have spoken to the reams of women that I’ve interviewed and met over the course of my life who made those same choices and then wound up deeply, deeply unhappy.”
“I think her rules will hurt all women,” Kelly insisted. “I really do. I think you should not listen to her. And by the way, not for nothing, I don’t think it matters whether you’re super attractive or you’re not, but I do think she also can’t speak for all women.”

Pointing out how the podcaster is “a beautiful gal” who may have had “repeated opportunities with men,” Kelly said that Cooper’s experience is likely vastly different from women who are not as attractive.
“A less attractive woman who just so easily gives it up over and over is probably not going to get repeat calls,” Kelly said. “So, let’s just keep that in mind, too.”
“Just don’t listen to this person,” Kelly advised her listeners. “If you find her conversations interesting, good on you, but don’t actually follow that advice. I urge you, my fellow women, especially young women.”
Cooper, who has a whopping 6.9 million followers on Instagram and one of the most-listened-to podcasts among women, celebrated her second wedding anniversary with husband Matt Kaplan on April 6.
Kelly’s first marriage to anesthesiologist Daniel Kendall ended in divorce in 2006. She has been married to Douglas Brunt since 2008, and they share three children.
