Meghan King temporarily lost custody of her kids after allegedly giving one of them unprescribed medication, according to multiple reports.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 41 — who shares daughter Aspen, 8, and twin sons Harper and Hayes, 7, with ex-husband Jim Edmonds, 55 — allegedly gave one of her sons medication for ADHD and even asked a school nurse to administer it, even though it had not been prescribed, TMZ reported in a story published on Thursday, November 20.
“She tried to get the nurse to do it and then somebody from the school called CPS and they opened an investigation,” a source told People on Thursday November 20.
As Star previously reported, the reality star is now allowed supervised visitation with her kids two times a week, ahead of a court hearing scheduled for December 9.
Her former costar Kelly Dodd defended King in a TikTok video on Thursday, November 20 after allegedly getting off the phone with her. “She said that she gave one of her… twins some Ritalin and I guess it made her a dangerous mother,” the Bravo star revealed.

“Meghan King Edmonds and I have had a lot of differences [but] I can tell you she loves those kids,” the Bravo alum, 50, insisted. “I know for a fact she is an excellent mother and I just pray that she gets her babies back. Those boys and that daughter need their mom. It’s terrible what is going on right now.”
King and the former baseball player split after five years of marriage in 2019 amid his confession that he engaged in “inappropriate” behavior with another woman. When their divorce was finalized in 2021, they agreed to joint custody, but have had multiple disputes since.
