With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s marriage troubles back in the headlines, King Charles III has left the door firmly open to his son should he need advice or things become too much to bear, a source tells Star.
“Charles has been watching everything unfold from a distance,” says the source. “And while he’s certainly not wishing for Harry’s marriage to fail, he’s realistic enough to know that even the strongest relationships can hit their breaking point under this kind of pressure.”
In the Wednesday, July 22 edition of Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack, an insider revealed that the Sussexes are living separate lives — and spending less time together than anyone realizes.
“He’s been through a very public divorce himself and knows how different things can be behind closed doors compared to the image people see,” the source says of Charles’ 1992 split from Princess Diana. “He wants Harry to know that if he ever reaches a point where he’s overwhelmed or confused, there’s no judgment waiting for him. He’ll be there to listen and offer whatever wisdom he can.”

As Star previously reported, Meghan, 44, blames Harry, 41, for her career setbacks, and it’s causing a lot of tension in their relationship.
“Ultimately, all Charles wants is for Harry to be happy, but he also wants him to face whatever lies ahead with his eyes wide open,” says the source. “More than anything, Charles wants Harry to know that he doesn’t have to shoulder this all alone.”
