Kevin Costner has officially gotten his mojo back after his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, which was settled a year and a half ago. The Horizon: An American Saga star struck up a cozy friendship with Jewel in 2023 (he called the singer “special” and “beautiful enough to go out with,” despite insisting they were just friends). In late December, the 70-year-old was spotted sharing a night out with Jennifer Lopez in Aspen.

Hoda Kotb joked “New couple alert” after taking a snap with him at the Super Bowl Feb. 9. But a source says all the mixing-and-mingling is less about love than revenge following Christine’s engagement to his former neighbor and friend Josh Connor. “His ego hasn’t recovered,” says the source. “Getting dumped unceremoniously and being forced to stand by as she parades her new fiancé all over has made him want to prove that he’s moved on and can get anyone he wants.”
