Nailing it! The Six Triple Eight stars Kerry Washington and Ebony Obsidian and director Tyler Perry grabbed a moment with King Kong as they lit up the Empire State Building in partnership with Netflix and the United Service Organizations to celebrate the film’s release.

The true story follows the only Women’s Army Corp unit of color to serve overseas in WWII, who were tasked with delivering 17 million pieces of backlogged mail to soldiers from their families. “These women weren’t just delivering mail,” said Kerry. “They were delivering hope.”
