Jen Affleck is making moves — and this time it’s not on the dance floor.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star competed on the current season of Dancing with the Stars before being voted off during the Tuesday, October 28 episode. While some fans expected she might return to her Utah roots, the 26-year-old revealed she’s heading in a different direction.
“Hey, turns out Jen’s moving to L.A. and Jan’s my neighbor,” Affleck told People of her professional partner, Jan Ravnik, after their elimination.
“We’re neighbors,” Ravnik added, to which Affleck confirmed, “We’re literally neighbors.”
“I’m a new nanny because I’m gonna be unemployed,” Ravnik joked.
Affleck and her husband, Zac Affleck, share three children — Nora, 3, Lucas, 2, and Penny, 3 months. The couple left their home in Orem, Utah, last year when Zac began medical school in New York City.

Jen shot to fame in 2024 after Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives became a viral hit. While her move to Los Angeles might seem like a new chapter, the couple’s reality TV days aren’t over just yet: Zac recently confirmed on TikTok that cameras were rolling as they searched for their new home in California.
“You will see bts season 4 but we had a realtor, assistant, and a legit full 10 man team working on finding the perfect one before she would commit,” he commented on one of Jen’s TikTok videos.
“I’m sorry, Jan has absolutely no business being a pro on Dancing with the Stars. There’s zero foundation, technique, quality, understanding of the partnership,” Chmerkovskiy ranted. “Bro, I’m getting emotional. It is absurd.”
As Star previously reported, Jen later responded with a TikTok video supporting Ravnik, who danced on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour before joining the ABC series.
