Jelly Roll Announces Touring Hiatus Following Bunnie Xo Divorce
Country singer Jelly Roll is stepping away from the spotlight for an extended hiatus following his divorce from Bunnie Xo.
“This has truly been a lifetime experience for me,” Jelly, 41, said on stage at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, last week, according to a Monday, August 3 report in Country Now. “And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two.”
Per the outlet, he added, “I’m fixing to take some time off and heal. Thank you for the opportunity.”
The “Son of a Sinner” artist wrapped up his tour on July 30 at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The news comes just weeks after he and ex-wife Bunnie Xo, 46, called it quits on their marriage after a decade. The former pair finalized their divorce in July, though they still plan to have a baby together.
“We’re just going to raise little Nugget as one big happy family,” Bunnie said on her Dumb Blonde podcast in June.
Despite the seemingly amicable split, both the artist and the podcaster have unfollowed each other on social media.
