Influencer Lula Lahfah Found Dead in Apartment at Age 26 After Reported Health Issues

Lula Lahfah, an Indonesian content creator with nearly 4 million followers across Instagram and TikTok, has reportedly died. She was 26.

Lahfah, who was also a singer, died on Friday, January 23, CNN Indonesia reported that night.

That same day, the band Weird Genius — which features Reza Oktovian (who also goes by Reza Arap), who is reportedly Lahfah’s boyfriend — canceled a scheduled appearance.

“With heavy hearts, we are informing you that Weird Genius will not be able to perform at tonight’s OPPO event due to the unfortunate news of one of our members ([who is] currently not in a prime condition and shape to be on the stage),” a statement on their Instagram page read.

“This situation is beyond our control, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” the statement added. “We ask for everyone’s understanding and forgiveness.”

According to CNN Indonesia, a police spokesperson confirmed that an influencer with the initials LL died in the Essence Darmawangsa Apartment building of South Jakarta and that the body was found around 6:44 p.m. local time.

Police are investigating the incident.

“Currently, South Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit officers are still processing the crime scene (TKP) to investigate the incident and are coordinating with the family,” the spokesperson said.

Lahfah spent New Year’s in the hospital with health issues, according to CNN Indonesia, though it is unclear if the recent hospital stay is related to her death.

On Lahfah’s Instagram page — which features the quote, “Life’s too short for so much sorrow” — fans paid tribute to the influencer in the comments of her most recent posts.

Lahfah shared a video with Oktovian last week on Instagram, and she last posted a “getting ready with me” video to TikTok days before her death.
