The Real Housewives of New York City alum Carole Radziwill took to social media to honor Tatiana Schlossberg, who died this week at age 35 from cancer.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday, December 31, Radziwill said she woke up to the news of the former environmental journalist’s passing. Schlossberg, the daughter of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, brought back vivid memories of Radziwill’s late husband, Anthony Radziwill, who was Jacqueline Kennedy’s nephew.
“Although I hadn’t seen her in many years, the news brought back memories. She was thirty-five. Not much younger than my late husband, Anthony when he passed away. The arithmetic of loss never makes sense to me—who stays, who goes, and when. Some people are spared and others are not, and there is no moral logic to it. That is the part I still can’t accept,” Radziwill’s caption began.

The former reality star reflected on the shock of losing someone so young.
“Remembering the two of them together, it’s impossible not to feel how profoundly unfair it all is—how brief some lives are allowed to be, and how long the rest of us are left to remember them,” she wrote.
Radziwill added that her thoughts are with the Kennedy family and encouraged her more than 600,000 Instagram followers to make a donation to the Kennedy Library in Tatiana’s honor. “No one from her family has asked for donations but it feels like a sweet thing one can do and I’m sure would be appreciated,” Radziwill concluded.

Radziwill’s late husband Anthony, Caroline Kennedy’s first cousin, died at the age of 40 after battling cancer.
Tatiana announced in November that she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Her family announced her death in an online statement shared by the JFK Library Foundation on Tuesday, December 30. She is survived by her husband, George Moran, and their two young children, son Edwin and daughter Josephine.
